Alaskan Fossils & B Merry Studios

Bob Merry, owner of B Merry Studio, has a history of trying new things throughout his life.

They started and ran a shooting preserve in Washington state from 1961 until 1979, moving to Alaska In 1980.

A self-taught artist, they started B Merry studio in 1983 with scrimshaw on ivory and carving antlers.  We now have 186 retail stores that sell our Alaskan-made antler items. Bob always liked fossils, woolly mammoths, and other ivory, to be sure.

Restoring mammoth bones and ivory was a hobby and turned into a profession. As you can see throughout the website.
